Event Guidelines

This is the event guide for Fate/Grand Order Global’s last event for year 2021:Christmas 2021: Nightingale’s Christmas Carol. This is a special Lottery Event that will let players farm for valuable items needed to power up your servants. The next lottery will not be until next August/September, it is highly recommended that you farm this event as much as you can.

Your goal for this event is to play through the event by clearing Main Story Quests and farm heavily for lotto boxes. Players will receive a new free servant: 4* Archer – Santa Nightingale, who provides excellent team utility and support. I highly recommend that you try to complete the event to get her, especially for newer players.

Guidelines to follow

  • Run on Natural AP until the 5 Day time lock lifts (on Dec 18th 20:00 PST – Login Reset Time)
  • Focus on farming 200 Gauze, 200 Thermometers, and 400 Pillows to buy out the Lotto Shop CE during the first 5 days.
  • Avoid Max limit breaking the Lotto CE until you can MLB without seeing a decrease to your total drop bonus. (Around 7 CE’s – 4 from the shop and 3 from drops.)
  • The event is fairly straight forward in how it plays ie. clear main quests and farm the new free quests.
  • After you clear Main Quest Section 6, the best lotto farming node will unlock. You will have precisely 9 days to farm this node. You can guarantee at least 16 boxes during this period based on natural AP alone.
  • Spend Spend Spend! It is time to spend all the apples you have, there is no better time to use it. You will get plenty more by the time the next lottery comes in Fall 2022.
  • This event is very easy with the exception of the challenge quest. Even newer players should have little trouble clearing through the event.
  • There will be special Santa Battle Royale quests that will unlocked when the Global server’s total lotto box resets reach certain threshold. The rewards for these quests are fixed and cannot be boosted with any bonus.
  • Keep the Lotto Shop CE after the event is done. It is one of the rare Optimal Quick CE’s that you can get in the game, especially as a free CE. You will need it for the rerun next year as well.

NOTE: Lottery will provide Embers, QP, Friend Points, Fruits, Mana Prisms, and Skill Gems. On top of that you will also receive the follow ascension materials: Dragon Fang, Forbidden Pages, Octuplet Crystals, and Ghost Lanterns. In addition, each lotto box will give you an exchange ticket that you can exchange for one of the following: Chaos Talon, Phoenix Plume, or Giant’s Ring. If you need any of the following materials listed, then you really should farm this. Best to use every Apple in your possession.

Support Setup Recommendation

Players will mostly focus on maximum Lotto Drop bonus therefore Support Casters with MLB Lotto 5* CE are preferred. Bonus servants only have a damage and bond point event bonus for this event, there are no drop bonus from any servants.

Event Walkthrough

Getting Started

  • Run on Natural AP until the 5 Day time lock lifts (~Dec 18th 20:00 PST – Login Reset)
  • Equip the Lotto CE to your team as soon as you get them.
  • All Free Quest Nodes, except Christmas Rescue, drops Bandage Lotto Currency.
  • If you don’t need monuments, you can focus on grinding for Gauze in Yellow Tag as you’ll need the most of this currency.
  • If you aren’t desperate for QP (especially if you’re near the 999,999,999 QP cap), you can spend First Aid Kits of Wishes from the Lotto Boxes for Christmas Rescue as you can receive a substantial amount of the Gold Currency. Just make sure to have enough First Aid Kits to clear out the shops.
  • Santa Nightingale will join you at the start of the event as a temporary servant. You must clear Main Quest Section 6 to make her permanent, failure to do so will make her disappear along with all the progress that you have made on her.
  • You must have opened a minimum of 4 boxes to make Santa Nightingale NP5 by using the Event Shop First Aid Kit Exchange.

Day 0: Start of the Event – Prologue & Verse 1
  1. Watch prologue to receive a temporary copy of Santa Nightingale.
  2. Santa Nightingale gets a bond point bonus for this event, put her in the backline to take advantage of the bonus.
  3. Clear Verse 1 Main Quest and get a copy of the 3* With My Family Event CE.
  4. Clear Beginner, Expert, and Advanced Free Quests.
  5. Christmas Rescue Node will be available at the start but it costs 5 First Aid Kits to run.
  6. Wait for Login Reset for the new nodes to unlock.

Quest Compositions for this section:

Verse 1 Main Quest(Single Wave of 3 enemy servants):

  • Jeanne Alter (Avenger) with 30,175 HP.
  • Santa Alter (Rider) with 36,048 HP.
  • Darius III (Berserker) with 34,595 HP.
  • Drops Heart and Silver Servant Monuments.

Beginner Free Quest 30 AP (2/2/3 ALL Rider Enemy Composition Waves):

  • Battle 1: 2 x Soldier ~4,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: 2 x Soldier ~5,900 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Marie Antoinette ~ 22,712 HP and 2 x Soldier with ~10,000 HP Each.
  • Drops primarily Gauze currency.

Intermediate Free Quest 35 AP (2/3/3 ALL Archer Enemy Composition Waves):

  • Battle 1: 2 x Christmas Hand ~6,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: 3 x Christmas Hand ~15,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Kid Gil ~ 47,420 HP and 2 x Christmas Hand with ~16,000 HP Each.
  • Drops primarily Thermometer currency.

Advanced Free Quest 40 AP (3/3/3 ALL Saber Enemy Composition Waves):

  • Battle 1: 3 x Centaur ~13,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: 3 x Centaur ~18,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Lanling Wang ~ 67,508 HP and 2 x Centaur with ~20,000 HP Each.
  • Drops primarily Pillow currency.

Christmas Rescue Free Quest 5 First Aid Kits (3/3/3 ALL Saber Enemy Composition Waves):

  • Battle 1: 3 x Reindeer Men ~24,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: 3 x Reindeer Men ~29,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Super Reindeer Man ~ 115,035 HP and 2 x Reindeer Men with ~34,000 HP Each.
  • Best Drop for Pillows in the game, but costs First Aid Kits to run. Make sure to maximize bonus for this.
  • Unlike other nodes, there are no Lotto Bandage Drops here.

Day 1(Dec 14 20:00): Verse 2 and Green Tag

  1. Clear Verse 2 Main Quest.
  2. Free the new Green Tag Free Quest for currency.
  3. Buy and equip Shop Lotto CE to your team as soon as you get them.

Green Tag Node is mixed currency, but provides a decent amount of each currency for you to get your Lotto CE.

Quest Composition for this Section:

Verse 2 Main Quest (2 Waves of Enemy Servants)

  • Battle 1*: Nursery Rhyme, Jeanne Alter Santa Lily, and Jack ~ 14,000 – 21,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle**: Atalanta Alter, Boudica, and Santam ~24,000 HP Each.
  • *Your party’s critical stars decreased to 0 at the end of every turn.
  • **All enemies will get Defense and Critical Damage Up at the start of the fight.

Green Tag Free Quest 40 AP (3/3/3 ALL Assassin Enemy Composition)

  • Battle 1: 3 x Soulless One ~12,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: Soul Eater ~ 34,000 HP and 2 x Soulless One ~20,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Stheno ~92,601 HP and 2 x Soulless One ~25,000 HP Each.
  • Drops all 3 Shop Currencies in equal amounts.

Day 2(Dec 15 20:00): Verse 3 and Yellow Tag
  1. Clear Verse 3 Main Quest.
  2. Farm Yellow Tag Free Quest for the best Gauze Drops in the Event.

Verse 3 Main Quest (2 Enemy Servants in a single wave)

  • Boss 1*: Aśvatthāman ~ 69,927 HP.
  • Boss 2: Caesar ~81,666 HP.
  • *At the start of turn, Aśvatthāman will gain Buster Up and Defense Down

Yellow Tag Free Quest 40 AP (3/3/3 ALL Berserker Enemy Composition)

  • Battle 1: 3 x Krichat’ ~16,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: White Chimera ~70,000HP and 2 x Krichat’ ~24,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Frankenstein ~103,000 HP and 2 x Krichat’ ~32,000 HP Each.
  • Best Drop area for Gauze.

Day 3(Dec 16 20:00): Verse 4 and Red Tag
  1. Clear Verse 4 Main Quest.
  2. Farm Red Tag Free Quest for the best Thermometer Drops in the Event.

Verse 4 Main Quest (1 Enemy)

  • Boss 1*: Iss Garmr ~ 150,632 HP.
  • *Can only use NPC Support Astolfo for this fight. Cannot use Master Skills or Command Seals.

Red Tag Free Quest 40 AP (3/3/3 ALL Caster Enemy Composition)

  • Battle 1: 3 x Ghost ~18,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: Bicorn ~61,000 HP and Ghost/Samurai ~24,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Thomas Edison ~119,000 HP and Ghost/Samurai ~36,000 HP Each.
  • Best Drop Area for Thermometer.

Day 4(Dec 17 20:00): Verse 5 and White Tag
  1. Clear Verse 5 Main Quest.
  2. Farm Red Tag Free Quest for the best Thermometer Drops in the Event.

Verse 5 Main Quest(Single Wave of 3 enemy servants):

  • Quetzalcoatl Samba(Ruler) with 32,926 HP.
  • Santa Attila(Archer) with 47,532 HP.
  • Amakusa Shirou (Ruler) with 37,858 HP.
  • Drops Plume, Void Dust, and Silver Servant Monuments.

White Tag Free Quest 40 AP (3/3/3 ALL Saber Enemy Composition)

  • Battle 1: 3 x Homunculus ~21,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: Nue ~77,000 HP and 2 x Homunculus ~28,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Suzuka Gozen ~129,000 HP and 2 x Homunculus ~40,000 HP Each.
  • Best Drop Area for Pillows besides Christmas Rescue.

Day 5(Dec 18 20:00): Verse 6 and Gold Tag

  1. Clear Verse 6 Main Quest to complete the story and make Santa Nightingale Permanent.
  2. Farm Gold Tag Free Quest for the best Bandage Lotto Drops in the Event. You’ll spend the rest of your event time here.
  3. Make sure you have opened at least 10 Lotto Boxes for the limited rewards and saved 30 First Aid Kits to clear out the shop.

Verse 6 Main Quest (2 Enemy Servants in a single wave)

  • Boss 1*: Astolfo (Saber) ~ 61,776 HP / 92,664 HP.
  • Boss 2: Bradamante (Lancer) ~101,368 HP
  • *At the start of turn, Astolfo will gain Ignore Defense Class Disadvantage
  • **After breaking Astolfo’s 1st Bar: Fully Charges NP Gauge to the Max and grants NP Damage Up to himself .

Gold Tag Free Quest 40 AP (3/3/3 ALL Lancer Enemy Composition)

  • Battle 1: 3 x Snowman ~30,000 HP Each.
  • Battle 2: Demon ~92,000 HP and 2 x Snowman ~34,000 HP Each.
  • Fatal Battle: Brynhildr ~151,215 HP and 2 x Snowman ~32,000 HP Each.
  • Best Drop Area for Bandage Lotto. Spend your apples here.

After Story
  • Now clear out the last set of quests and you can continue to keep farming the lotto until the end of the event.
  • Make sure you clear out the boxes within a week after the event or else they will all go to waste
  • You can use Kits for the Christmas Rush Event for Gold Currency. This is a good for when you want to reserve your AP/Apples for the Lotto.
